The Cheshire Cat

This is a giant Cheshire cat i painted and constructed out of cardboard. His head actually spins which is why its a strange angle and he glows in the dark. His eyes, teeth and back stripes glow. I wanted him to look really 3D so his back stripes are popping out along with his arm and the tree. The branch actually comes off the wall. I added the little Mad Hatter hat and the clock to just throw in some signature belongs to Alice in Wonderland. A white rabbit was going to be put in the hole of the tree but i ended up not doing so. Also his paws and his body are covered in a gell that hardens to the brush strokes so it gives it texture.

Materials used : Lots of cardboard, Acrylic paint along with metalic and glow in the dark, Lots of HOT GLUE and PATIENCE.

Time: About a week.
Inspiration: My absolute love/obsession for everything Alice and Cheshire.
